Leadership Programs offers several development opportunities, which are:

 

Leadership Programs' Vision:

Leadership programs, within the Office of Student Life at the University of California, Merced, aspires to educate and develop leadership competencies while empowering students to thrive as life long learners and leaders in the 21st century by fostering mindfulness and capabilities.
 

Leadership Programs' Mission Statement:

Aligning with the University of California, Merced and the Office of Student Life missions, Leadership Programs promotes the holistic development of diverse leaders within our campus community by providing a guiding framework for student success in leadership development while preparing students with tools for effective citizenship, personal growth, and professional success.
 

Bobcat Leadership Series:

The Bobcat Leadership Series is a yearlong developmental program with a leadership focus; answering questions like "What is leadership?" "Who can lead?" and "What does it take to be a great leader?" by taking an in-depth look at proven leadership theories and practices. Sessions are held at least twice a month during the academic year. Click here for more information.

 

Need a Leadership Training for your Student Organization?

Leadership Programs offers a variety of 1-hour trainings that can help your club/organization strengthen its leadership skills. Requests must be made a minimum of two weeks advance notice of your preferred date. Click here to see offered trainings and submit a request.
