The Office of Student Life provides a wide range of innovative student-centered opportunities for you. Membership in a fraternity or sorority is a good first step towards enjoying all the benefits that come with being a student at UC Merced. The University encourages you to fully explore the opportunities offered by the fraternities and sororities on campus.

UC Merced currently recognizes 8 fraternity/sorority organizations, a governing board and an Honor Society: Delta Delta Delta, Delta Gamma, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Kappa Sigma, Lambda Theta Nu, Omega Delta Phi, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Chi, Order of Omega Greek Honor Society and Fraternity & Sorority Council.

Our Mission Statement
Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) exists to enhance the collegiate experience through leadership, scholarship, service and social development. FSL will also serve to educate on the positive nature and goals of Greek Life, while building unity through the creation of strong and lasting relationships. These standards shall promote personal and civic responsibilities as well as give back to the university and surrounding community.
