Womxn’s Empowerment Conference (WEC) was developed to showcase opportunities to empower womxn to achieve their highest level of personal and professional growth. The WEC is a transformative experience that brings womxn together to discuss the past, present and future of Womxn’s empowerment through the various topics covered by our presenters. WEC’s mission is to educate, inspire, empower, and honor womxn as agents of positive social change. This conference is part of Womxn’s History Month programming.

The vision of the Womxn’s Empowerment Conference is to create an environment that fully affirms and honors the lived experiences of womxn at UC Merced and worldwide.

This year the conference will take place on March 18th, 2017 and the theme is Honoring Trail Blazing Womxn.
